Acceptance of terms

By using SimplePub (the "Service"), operated by Laurenz Thiele, an individual based in Belgium, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What SimplePub is

SimplePub is a free, browser-based tool that turns a data file (CSV, Excel, TSV, JSON, or Parquet) into a styled chart you can export as PNG, SVG, PDF, or EPS. There is no account system, the Service is available to anyone, at no cost, with no sign-up.

Your data

You retain all rights to any data you process with SimplePub. As described in our Privacy Policy, your uploaded file is processed entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to us, we never hold a copy and have no way to access it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or the systems behind it;
use the feedback form to submit anything unlawful, abusive, or intended to harm the Service;
use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.

No warranty

SimplePub is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated figures will be free of mistakes, you are responsible for reviewing any chart before relying on or publishing it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laurenz Thiele is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update the Service or these terms over time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
